Over the course of the session you will learn the basics of climbing outdoors and what is needed to be a competent second when climbing. Here are some of the topics covered:
- Safety equipment
- Route selection
- Basic movement on rock
- Climbing protection

Wild Summits will provide you with all of the equipment needed, such as:

- Shoes (Please check sizes in advance)
What To Bring?
Here is a list of some of the items to bring on the day. If you have climbing shoes, chalk etc. then you can bring your own, if not then we can supply the gear.
- Rain jacket
- (check the weather before hand)
Depending on the experience, you may be doing alot in the day. Some climbs require long hikes in and out and spending up to 2 hours en route.
Due to this we reccomend you bring plenty of food on the day.
- Water (2l)
Ratios will depend on the climbing experience. Sea Cliff Climbing can be done on a 1:3 while multi-pitch experiences are on a 1:2 basis.
Refunds are given up until two weeks before the agreed date.
