Rock Climbing - Expedition - Mountain Skills
The Wild Summits Youth Expedition Programme is an outdoor education and adventure programme aimed at 13-17 year olds.
This programme aims to get young people outdoors and out of their comfort zones while exploring the great Irish Landscape.
Over the course of the 3 days participants will learn rock climbing skills followed by a 2 day expedition where they will learn the tools and techniques of navigation and essential mountain skills.
- 3 days/ 2 nights.
- All equipment included.
- Individual tents supplied.
- All food included.
- Qualified Mountain Leaders, Climbing Instructors & Outdoor Educators.
- Participants need only bring warm clothing, boots, waterproofs and sleeping bag.
Drop Off/Pick Up
Drop off and pick up is at Ballykeefe Quarry in Kilkenny.
Drop Off: 1030hrs
Pick- Up: 1600hrs
Refunds will be given if government restrictions do not allow the expedition to go ahead. Otherwise the expedition tickets are non-rerfundable.
They are transferable. If you wish to tranfer your place to someone else then please call or email us.
