An Experience To Remember

This hike will take us up Scarr Mountain and back down Kanturk finishing along the shores of Lough Dan. Please note: THIS IS A HIKE. We will be hiking 10 km and gaining a total of 390 m of height over the Course of 4 hours. Departure Time: 3:15pm Boots are a must! NO UNDER 13's: This hike is for 13 and over.

The start time depends on the chosen date. To check the start time, choose a date on our availability calendar (in green) and click BOOK NOW. A window with the start time will then appear.

The tour will last 4 hours.

A location pin will be sent after booking.

The Glendalough Night Hike is MODERATE in difficulty. Some walking experience would be good (if you can do the Sugar Loaf then you can get through the most difficult part of the tour). 

BOOTS ARE A MUST

You should bring a head torch, rain jacket, waterproof trousers, thermals, warm socks, fleece, water bottle (1L) and snacks, nuts, etc.

There is plenty of options on AirBnB. If you and your partner are looking for a special weekend getaway, we would recommend you check out An Clochán.

For this activity, we suggest you bring a snack with you, such as nuts or protein bars.

A hand torch would suffice, but we recommend you bring a headlamp. Click here for an affordable option we recommend.

Unfortunately, due to health and safety concerns we can not allow your dog on any Wild Summit events.
